Diving promise of fame in bible names

The bible names are mostly related to god and it is still significant to search in the bible for baby names.  The beginning words of the Babylonian epic related to creation called Enuma Elish refers to a time that is before when there was no cosmos! There also a belief and it is a truth that without naming there can be no existence. Bible names are symbolic the "Isaiah of Jerusalem" has a son named "Shear-Jashub" and a remnant shall return…Isaiah declares to Ahaz that a son will be born to a young woman called "Immanu-el" which means :God with us"…. Likewise there are many references in the bible of names that were close to divine, hence bible names are widely sought after to name a new born in a way to feel near to God whenever one calls the person by virtue of their bible names.

Bible names also signify renown, reputation, fame and glory.  When the character and achievements of the person becomes widely known they become reputed. Reputation is an extension of personality.  Abraham had a divine promise that his name will be famed, so we name a baby Abraham, because it is a name that has a diving promise of fame in bible names. David was an outstanding warrior and his name was highly esteemed in bible names. So, when we desire the baby should be highly esteemed we name him David per bible names and related events associated with the name.

Folk etymology stresses that a change in bible names can also reveal a change in character. For example Jacob's name is changed to Israel after he has wrestled at the ford of Jabbok.  The meaning of Israel is "He who strives with God" So, after this name change there is a significant change of the crafty Jacob to a new behavior.  Bible names not only change the character of the named, but also they influence their future.  Bestowing a new name from one of the bible names is therefore considered to be influential and it is for this reason that when people from other religion are being converted to Christianity are given bible names.

The Old Testament has nearly one thousand and four hundred different names and most of the bible names have two parts there.  Where one name is a designation of the deity and the other is the real name. So, enjoy spiritual history as to learn through bible names, be sure you know the kind of future the name is blessed with in the scriptures.
